England kicked out of a tournament…again. Roy Hodgson, own up.

It was at the forefront of everyone’s mind. That is, everyone who has experienced first hand what Roy Hodgson does to a squad. England are out of Euro 2012 after failing to win the quarter final, being beaten 4-2 on penalties by Italy, and we all knew it would happen.

Spain 2 – 0 France. The reigning champions overcome the French pretenders.

The third quarter final has been and gone now, the winners of France and Spain would go on to play Portugal in the semi finals. This game stood out as the highlight of the round as both sides play attractive football so it would be a great game for the neutral.

Germany 4 – 2 Greece. Greeks out as Germany head for a possible semi-final encounter with England.

The second quarter final of Euro 2012 saw Germany maintain their competitive undefeated streak in Euro 2012, as Greece were booted out of the tournament.
